Our flights were booked for a long time, but this trip, we didn’t want to prepare it too much.
We wanted to let us go across the country, without a really established route.
And we did it!
First night in Bangkok on arrival, and the rest was done by feel.
Plane, tuk tuk, taxi, boat, overnight train, bus, bike, and a lot of walking… We have traveled Thailand from Bangkok, to Chang Mai in the north, then to the Laos border to the east, before back down to the south on the island of Koh Chang.
An amazing country called “the land of smiles”. Well Named.

Les billets d’avions étaient réservés depuis longtemps, mais ce voyage, nous ne voulions le préparer qu’un minimum.
Nous voulions nous laisser porter au jour le jour, traverser le pays sans itinéraire vraiment établis.
Et nous l’avons fait !
Première nuit à Bangkok à notre arrivée, et le reste s’est fait au feeling.
Avion, tuk tuk, taxi, bateau, train de nuit, bus, moto, et beaucoup de marche… Nous avons parcouru la Thailande de Bangkok, à Chang Mai au nord, puis jusqu’à la frontière du Laos à l’est, avant de redescendre au sud sur l’ile de Koh Chang.
Un voyage incroyable au pays surnommé “le pays du sourire”. A juste titre.
